A light bodied German style pilsner, with enough hops to taste, but not overpowering. This beer is an homage to the first incarnation of the Chattanooga Brewing Company. Our legacy offering, one the popular brands of the first Chattanooga Brewing Company (1890-1915)

Pours a clear solar yellow - nog much of the white head, but that must be from the pour. Aroma is malty and a little fruity. flavor is fairly bold for a pilsner, mostly malty with an apple/pear underpinning. Texture has average viscosity but a good fizz, and leaves a fruity finish. Pardon me boys, is that the Imperial Pilsner?

Big golden yellow pour with a tall white head and drapes of lacing. Good carbonation. Spicy aromas of German-type hops, citrus and lemony, earthy, sweet malts. Taste is lemon zesty, malty, peppery. Cold and refreshing. True to style, best fresh and cold. Nice effort.

This poured a golden color with a moderate white head. The aroma contained some lemons, hay, and alcohol. The flavor was a bit sweet with some corn, lemons, and some alcohol doing a sneak attack. Waaah Chaaah! Overall the impy pils style has rarely worked for me and this is no exception. It was ok but turns up a little too hot for my liking, but this is common with the style.
