[2004] Poured a clear, amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma was strong, (it permeated the car) of vanilla, dried fruits, toffee, caramel malts, strawberry, chocolate, citrus and light alcohol as well. Taste of citrus, and dark fruits, a bit of caramel, toffee, vanilla, light grassy hops, and a touch of alcohol in the finish. Really nice barleywine here, thanks Dave!
