I tried this beer for Ontario Craft Beer Week. The beer poured a solid cola brown/black colour with a thin white head. Aroma was roasted malt, molasses, and anise. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and mild carbonation. The flavour was light molasses backed up by roast coffee hints. An alright starter for the afternoon.
