An earthy, roasty malt-driven Scottish Ale with accents of cocoa and peat. Dark brown body with a somewhat lifeless head and splotchy lacing. Medium bodied, filling and satisfying. Rich and flavorful, a classic American example......thanks to Greg for providing this.

Another nice Wisconsin beer from the Wisconsin Beer Mafia, this one from the Godfather himself PfoxyJohn. Near black pour, mahogany black-brown, with a thin tannish head and little lacing. Peated almost smoky malt aroma, sweet nearly burnt molasses, earthy hops, near-burnt toast. Taste is nicely sweet upfront, then a very earthy peaty flavor, which is welcome, and a touch of dryness in the end. Nice change of pace from the big ass beers I've been drinking this week; Slàinte indeed, Mr. Pfister - To Your Health Sir!

Always nice to see new beers from Central Waters. This wee heavy drank very smooth and had a nice malty flavor. Nothing really stood out to me, just a nice solid offering all around.

Was surprised to see a new offering from CW at Woodmans the other day. Pretty nice brew. Dark, reddish brown colour. Pours very thick, little carbonation. A wee bit heavier of a scotch then I'm used to. No pun intended. Biscuity, smoked, and faint hop trail on the finish.
