Pours a rich brown color with a tan head that leaves some impressive lacing. Aromas of caramel, sweet malt, vanilla, bourbon, smoke, peat and hint of oak. Tastes as it smells with caramel and sweet malt leading the flavors. Bourbon and vanilla bring up the rear with a hint of oak on the finish. The caramel, vanilla and bourbon combo gives the beer an almost toffee/butterscotch taste, which is delicious. Mouthfeel is full and rich. This is an impressively crafted beer. Highly recommended.

Pours an opaque chocolate brown with a nice fine-bubbled tan head; ruby-tinged ligt sneaks through at the bottom of the glass. Bourbon-infused oak dominates the aroma, but let’s through sweet malt and caramel notes. Flavor is rather sweet, malty, caramel and bourbon and oaky undertones. Viscous texture is fairly lively. Worthy!

Bottles(2) from PfoxyJohn via our July Wisconsin visit. Brown amber pour with a tight short head, nice lacing throughout. Huge malty sweet and Bourbon nose and palate upfront, nice caramel notes, oakiness, light vanilla, biscuit, more malty caramel and light Bourbon. Love love love this beer. Thank you John!

A booze hound. Perfect backdrop beer to highlight Bourbon, it comes out bright and flavorful. Body is a bit light and it really only tastes like booze, but its a nice booze with good warmth and sweetness.

Bourbon soaked wood, earthy, peaty notes followed by a tangy fruitiness. Burnt caramel, vanilla and more bourbon. Thin khaki head, splotchy lacing above a murky amber~brown body....a bit lifeless looking, typical for BBA offerings. Smooth and creamy, the mouthfeel beckons you to remain close. The rich malty smoothness is this beers best feature. Drinks with ease and satisfaction. Thanks Greg for this tasty beverage.
