New Brunswick was largely founded by French descendents and United Empire Loyalists which inspired the province’s motto "Spem reduxit", meaning "hope is restored". For this reason, we have brewed the classic English style of an extra special bitter.

Part of Central City East mixed pack. Pours an average size frothy tan head and has a light amber/coppery appearance. Decent sticky lacing. Aromas of earthy hops, light roasted malt. Flavours are toasty, notes of caramel as well as earthy hops. Quite a bit of bitterness on the palate but nothing too offensive.
