Acquired from Chopz. Pours an average size frothy tan head and has a dark amber coppery appearance. Decent sticky lacing. Aromas of roasted barley, toasted malt, smoky, some spices. Flavours are pretty smoky right away, some roasted malts, a bit toasty as well with some subtle spice notes. Dry finish on the palate.

Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a warm cap, almost creamy and nice lacing. Beautiful aromas of chocolate malts with some grassy hop notes and hints of vanilla. The taste is mild with some roasted malts, toffee and the hops in the finish. Some light apples and cocoa. Lacking some malt strength in the flavour, but the hops pushes this up. Still, a pretty decent hoppier Scotch Ale.
