Pale yellow with fast dissapearing white foam head, containing large CO2 bubbles. Aroma is yeasty, sweet more like a malt. Taste is sweet bitter, with short staying aftertaste. Bit too sweet. (Barnsley 201208)

This is a good, cheap, goto beer that never lets me down. Colour - medium gold, white head. Aroma - grainy malt. Muthfeel - medium. Flavour - malty. Overall - very good.

I'm not an incredibly biased beer drinker - well, yes I am. I like what I like. I can tell you that the Canadians need to stick to Canadian Club (I don't even like Canadian Whisky) and leave the beer production to others. Their skunky mess is revolting.

Thomas Carling and Euegene O'Keefe were great men, may they rest in peace. Sadly the beers that bear their names today are nowhere near the standards of yesteryear. This beer is pure swill. Colourless, odourless, and tasteless. But in honour of the name.........I gave it more than a 1.0

The beer pours a very translucent pale gold colour with a huge fluffy white head that is gone quickly. The aroma is very grainy/grassy. The mouthfeel is fuller than water, and far too carbonated. The flavour is very grainy/grassy too. -

A mildly decent Canadian lager that works when you need it. It's not a beer that I would drink as my 'go to' beer, but when it's the only thing available...it's definitely an upgrade over Budweiser or Labatt Blue.

Great swill. I mean, its nothing special but you can never go wrong when your in a pinch. Carling has an easy drinking taste and it comes in a refreshing looking can.

This beer will definitely compete for the indian/poor man market share in manitoba. With its low price it will be a favorite for all the feathered caps out there, as well as those who dont want to shell out a ton of money. Tastes similar to Lucky and goes down quickly in a tip cup race. I would have this again and will likely have it when i want to switch it up from lucky lager.

A decent beer. Sampled in London. Not much aroma or color to it, however served cold this is a nice brew on a hot day. Goes down very smooth, recommended if you are looking for a cheap beer.

Not terrible Canadian swill. The attack is decent with a little hoppyness and it goes down smooth. Nothing really interesting to write home about but its half. Crisp and smooth but not amazing
