A SALUTE TO THE COURAGE AND VISION OF CAPTAIN JAMES JACK This crisp, North German-style pilsner is a salute to the courage and vision of Captain James Jack and the members of the Mecklenburg Convention. On May 20, 1775, Captain Jack and his fellow patriots signed and delivered America’s first declaration of independence. This light golden-colored lager captures their rebellious spirit with a crisp, subtle hoppiness that complements the beer’s bready backbone.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

Billy Brady on the nose some nice funky pasture. Pours a clear light gold with minimal head and minimal lace although it's in the s***** airport bar plastic glass so who knows. Really soft smooth mouth with a great tingle really spot on. It's a fairly hoppy German pilsner a lot of bread and cracker some peppery spice it's really an excellent pilsner. Is it worth 12 bucks at an airport bar I don't know but it's pretty damn good.
