Cask. Dark golden colour, not much head. Alcohol, fruit and berries in aroma. Strong alcohol and fruit in flavour. Quite extreme for being a cask ale, but then again very pleasant. Good beer to have if you sit down and have a chat with friends.

Sampled this beer as cask conditioned. Appealing light brown color, slight alcohol biet that wasn't overpowering for a 10 % ABV. Head laced slightly down the glass. A very drinkable barleywine.

Gravity at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Dark brown and flat looking. But an excellent barley wine. Sweet and syrupy. Brown sugar, malty, smooth with an excellent mouthfeel. Great alcohol finish.

I had this on a beer engine. It looked nice and felt wonderfully smoothe going down, but had a strange hop flavor that I didn't care for at all.
