Pours barely translucent dark chocolate with a thick and rather persistent tan head. Aroma delivers roast malt, coffee, chocolate, peppery and maple syrup tones. This starts out a smorgasbord of unrelated yet strangely complimentary scents. Flavor presents chocolate, peppery, coffee, roast malt and maple tones - pepper is strong, but not unbearable. Mouthfeel offers decent body, good fizz, and a rather peppery finish. This beer is NOT for the faint of heart - or palate. Feel gravity’s pull!
