This black beer was aged for eight months in a Chianti foudre with wild yeast strains. The result is full of chocolate and vinious oak flavours, with pleasing farmhouse aromas and mild acidity.

April 2017: 750 ml green botlle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Barrel aged dark beer, aged for 1 year in a red wine foudre. Black colour, moderate tan head. Strong aroma of red wine, oak, brettanomyces, roast malts. Malty flavour, slight roast, chocolate, lactose, distinct notes of red wine, brettanomyces and oak. Moderate hops. Very good beer.
