Put your feet up and contemplate this big, bold, classic US style barley wine. Rich mouthfeel with caramel notes from Maris Otter and crystal malts. Robust bitterness with an apparent yet balanced hop aroma to muse upon.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.5%. Hazy reddish brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of toffee, molasses, caramel / fudge, alcohol, hints of dried figs. Smooth flavour, mainly the same elements as the aroma, but not so much molasses, and not too sweet. Decent bittering hops. Nice to drink.
