    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

pours a transparent yellow colored brew with a descent head but weak retention and no lacing. The aroma is sweet with hints of tart strawberries. The taste has bready malt backbone with a smooth texture, semi-tart strawberries add a crisp, drying quality. The ginger is overpowering, a lot less would have allowed the giner to compliement the mildly bitter herbal hop character, instead of overpowering it. The mouthfeel is light body and highly carbonated. crisp, dry finish.

Brewed with ginger as well, and the ginger is a far more dominant presence than the strawberry. The aroma is mainly ginger with a slight berry finish. As with most BB brews, light bodied to a fault. Flavor is pleasant and nearly mirrors the smell. This brewer knows how to spice a beer, but too often they have a weak base, and that's the case here too. The mix of ginger and berry would be really really nice in a saison, but in this blonde, pretty mediocre.
