Had this on draft at the Portland Holiday Ale Festival a few weeks ago. Almost black with a thick, brown head. Not much aroma, but it is a lager. Toasty. Medium body and very smooth. Mildly sweet with a clean finish. This was one great, drinkable beer!

an imperial version of the black noddy lager, a decent brew. this one is much the same, but bigger, and more warming, in every aspect. huge roasted dry malty aroma, big body, smoke and dry flavor. i still prefer stouts. 10/10-on tap @Buckbean. Don't know if it's the year, or the fact that it's on tap, but much better than last year. 2010-4.1, 2009-3.7. I'll change it to a 3.9 overall. Their best.
