Sampled on 10/2/2009. This traditional ale pours a medium brown color from a 50cl swing top bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is malt, spices and sweet. A medium bodied traditional ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy. Spices are ginger and lavender. Nice balance. A touch on the sweet side perhaps. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
