Our upcoming summer seasonal is not your father’s pilsner. Bright gold in color, this pilsner harkens back to its true European origins with a flavor that’s light and refreshing, yet absolutely memorable. German pilsen barley lends a traditional malt component, while fine Czech and German hops add a nice snap. On June 8, the beer will be released in bottles and distributed on tap throughout Colorado.

Sampled on 9/21/2010. This pilsner pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is grainy, grassy and spicy. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are grainy and grassy. The hops are herbal and spicy. Lively carbonation. Decent balance. Nice clean crisp taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp, a perhaps a little dry. Aftertaste is bitter.

It pours a bright yellow with flat white head and some lace. An aroma of sweet malts, light hops, lemon, and some corn. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of sweet malts, light hops, lemon zest, and light spice. Very smooth and refreshing after a long, hot day ...
