This year we have decided to ferment our old ale with a very unique Belgian yeast called Forbidden Fruit. This gives a mellow fruitiness and spicy flavour to the big malty flavours already present. We have also renamed the beer in the Belgian tradition after the local source of sin and debauchery.

    Came in a clear bottle which says 'Belgian Style Maximum Maltiness'. The beer poured a hazy copper colour with a thin off-whute head. Aroma was sweet malt, yeast, and weak fruit. Flavour was grainy malt, apple-ish fruit, and yeast. A decent brew, but certainly better than a lot of Asian beers.

    Bottled. Hazy nut brown colour, off white mediumsized head. Aroma is fruity and wheaty with hints of caramel. Flavour is fruity, yeasty and malty. Lovely brew!
