Courtesy of Dak. The cool looking green 0.375L black cork and caged pours (2011) out deep dark liquid with mahogany edges and almost no head but impressive glass staining legginess. The aroma offers up molasses, dark roasted malts, some dark caramel, dark roasted coffee and a sense of chili meat. The taste is smooth and yummy with nectar like sweet goodness going from rich molasses, near burnt malts, some rich dark roasted coffee notes and to a pleasingly complimentary note of chili meat. The notes all go wonderfully together and just go on and on and on at times and I don’t want them to ever stop. I also get delicious rich velvety dark chocolate here and there too. Wow! This is insanely good and seems a bit Hunahpu like, well at least one or two batches from the first year it was made are pretty close to this.

Pours out in an opaque black colour with a low creamy pale brown head. Rich aroma of milky chocolate, cocoa-powder, cherries and hot pepper. Full-bodied with rich sweetish and spicy notes of cocoa, milky chocolate, brown sugar, Turkish coffee, black pepper and mild chili. Long full sweet and hot finish of sweet milky chocolate with a growing heat from the chili. Pleasant and quite funny stuff.
