    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

330 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in a stemmed glass an unfiltered and cloudy mahogany-ruby-brown coloured W A with a good two fingers creamy, fine, dense and beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is sourish-dark fruits, plums, red berries, roasted malts, notes of wood and an unexpected intruder, chitterlings sausage (!). The flavour is light roasted malts, sourish dark fruits, plums, berries, acidic fruits, citrus, a spicy side, nutmeg, vanilla, pepper, cinnamom, vinous notes. The mouthfeel is creamy, prickly and "smoothie-sour". The texture is watery. This medium bodied W A has a dry sourish-acidic finish. A surprising and quite complex, well flavoured and with a pretty ABV, Wild Ale from KÖln am Rhein. I like it.
