500 ml capped bottle. Poured a crystal clear and golden-yellow coloured Pilsener with a two fingers almost white and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles and some bigger one. Lovely carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is powerful sweety malts, grassy hops, fruity with citrussy tones and notes of straw. The flavour is grassy and floral hops, sweety grainy malts and fruity, notes of citrus. The mouthfeel is thick and round. The texture is oily. This light to medium bodied Pilsener has a dry hoppy bitter finish. This Wagner Pils, brewed in Merkendorf in the Bamberger area, could without a doubt challenge the title of " representative Pils of Upper Franconia " : an attractive nose, well flavoured, a gorgeous palate, for short, more than a good Pils, it's a great Pils.
