Pours a good size foamy beige head and has an amber coppery appearance. Ok lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, a bit smokey and notes of caramel. Flavours are very sweet, some strong smokey notes, toffee and caramel. The maple syrup is somewhat noticeable but is overpowered but the smokiness. Alcohol is also quite apparent. Pretty disappointing.

Pours a deep amber colour with a foamy warm beige head, good retention and some wet lacing. Very nutty aromas with some wood, sweet malts and some dark fruits (prunes, dates). The maple is not felt here, but a little in the taste. Still, not much. Fruity malts with some dark fruit notes, nutty, grainy and some decent bitterness from the hops. Just not enough maple to make this a big thing about the maple. Disappointing.
