Clean, deeper amber colour with a warm, light-beige frothy head, average retention and some small foamy lacing spots. The hops that I am not a fan of in some of these red beers is found here. Rusty, lightly grassy, clashing with the caramel malts. Hints of spices appear, and show up a little more in the taste. The rusty water is still here in the flavours, but seem to calm down a bit after breathing. Some decent bitterness because of this. Get a tad hazy near last pour. Not bad all around, but much preferred their first one I had - Triple du Belvedere.
