The Black Gate (Black Pilsner / Schwarzbier) 5.7% ABV, 29 IBU - This dryhopped schwarzbier (Black Beer), has the light crisp mouthfeel of a pilsner, but with some of the roasted chocolate flavors of a porter. A extremely flavorful alternative to a light lager.

This brew continues their solid interpretations of many classic styles. Nice black malt, dry and toasty, and little chocolate, coffee and roast on the nose. Lite, but full of flavor. Well done.
