The delicate yet very pleasant flowery hop aroma and great balance in flavor reminds me of how good a steam beer can be when fresh. A lot of people I know, myself included, have kind of moved on from Anchor Steam, but those who have forget how nice it is fresh. Too bad you can't usually tell in the stores. Great balance of light hops, fruit and toast. A session beer I can get into.
