    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

750ml bottle that pours a dark brown colour with light ruby-copper highlights, a mocha-coloured head that sticks around a bit, with decent lacing spots. Big, rich aromas of sweet malts giving chocolate notes, raisins, maple and caramel. The taste shows dark fruits, molasses, roasted malts, caramel, with coconut hints and the warming Bourbon. The richness is cut with a bitter, drying finish. The mouthfeel is quite oily and silky. A tad of wood is left on the tongue. Quite complex, with lots going on, but nicely balanced with a good end.
