Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9
375ml bottle that pours a real dark brown colour with no highlights. A darker mocha-coloured head, average stay and minimal lace. Aromas of nuts, molasses, coconut, chocolate-roasted malts and boozy-soya sauce hints. A thicker mouthfeel, oily, but with a drying finish to smooth down things. The vanilla shows a touch more in the taste, lingering. Some good chocolaty flavours, blended with the nuttiness. This is such a good brew without the barrelling, that the Bourbon only adds a touch of the alcohol-raisins, but very faint. Going down smoothly.
