Fragmentaire se veut la continuité d'Oscillation, notre Barleywine sous la forme d'expérimentation,de barriques uniques ou bien issu d'une assemblage spécifique de barriques. Cette version de Fragmentaire est l'assemblage de deux barriques de bourbon Knob Creek dans lesquels notre Barleywine a séjourné pendant un peu plus de 22 mois. Vous y trouverez des notes intenses de bourbon, de fruits confits avec des notes complexes de toffee, de caramel, de bois brûlé et de vanille. La texture est bien riche. L'ensemble des saveurs est à la fois intense et en équilibre.

Pours a dark brown colour with a ruby-copper highlights with a smaller mocha-coloured head, still lasting a while and leaving a nice ring around the brew. Wood, alcohol, dark fruits, a touch of Bourbon, chocolate. The mouthfeel is slick, a tad oily, but not overly thick. Fruit cake flavours with roasted malts, booze with light warming, woodiness lingering. Nice to have a Barleywine in this bunch of release (late 2023), with the Bourbon - that is not an Imperial Stout. Christmas fruit cake liquid.
