A wheat wine blended and fermented with white grapes from Firestone Walker in Paso Robles, and a wheat wine fermented with Kveik yeast in Kansas City. Each beer was barrel-aged in a mix of whiskey and rye barrels and finally all blended together producing a dry, light-bodied barrel-aged wheat wine.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

12oz bottle pours with a clear deep amber colored body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up some plum and a bit of fig and cherry as well as smooth whiskey to boozy oak sensation. The taste is similar as it delivers a wheat softened palate that's further softened by the residual sugars and somehow a supple whiskey smoothness. Malt sweetness creeps up as the whiskey booziness gushes to the surface as this meanders toward the finish. This isn't too terrible. The is a little too barrel forward but the barrel character is pretty darn smooth. Nice sipper.
