"The great flavour from the small brewery." All beers from Borg are brewed solely on malts, hops, water and yeast - the way good beer has been brewed for centuries. Borg Pilsner is light and refreshing, and goes well with cured meat, light meat, fish or just as a thirstquencher.

Purchased on a whim while stocking up on some other supplies - wish I hadn't. I still have 4 of a 6-pack and I'm not sure they're worth the effort. Grassy, thin and weak with too much carbonation. Thin, weak head with zero lacing. I may pound down the other 4 after raking leaves or something. Not much, if any, better than a Natty Light.

Good beer for parties. Like when you need 12-15 for an evening. Easy to drink. Cheap in Norway compared to other pilsner types. You can buy this type of beer at Rimi stores.

Brewed by Borg Bryggeri in Sarpsborg, part of the Hansa Borg brewery group. (500 ml can). Pale golden colour, decent head that doesn't last very long or leave much lacing. Light flowery / grassy aroma, very light bodied, typical run of the mill pilsener - nothing offensive, but not great. Low bitterness. Reminds me of Tropical Pils (Las Palmas).
