Pours a near transparent burgundy with an off-white head that takes its time. Ton and Tons of carbonation in this one. Aroma is very much like the Trappist style brews. Aroma you can pick out something that reminds me of communion wine. Also has a very yeasty hit to it. Taste is fairly bready with a ever slight metallic ting to it. Very spicy just like the Belgian beers this is modeled after with a hint of oak. Aftertaste is woody and slightly dry. Very, very good beer that would rival its kin in Belgian.
