In English pubs, Boddingtons' unique pale-gold ale is served by the traditional hand-pulled method, which produces a distinctive creamy head, smooth body and little gassiness. This ingenious DRAUGHTFLOW SYSTEM means you can now enjoy the same creamy head and fresh taste of Boddingtons Pub Ale, from a can.

A caramel colored pour, very clear, and topped with a thin white film for a head. Aroma is light toasted malt, weak caramel, very weak grass, and some yeast. Flavor is very malty with caramel and fresh bread being the stars. Finish is weakly bitter.

A golden amber pour, clear, with a huge off-white head. Ample amounts of citrus and caramel in the nose with hints of yeast and cereal malts. Well balanced palate between the malt and hops with just the right amount of sweetness in the mix.

Yellow beer that pour a think white head that takes a while to settle down so you can drink it. Has a good malt aroma with a slight smell of bread. Flavor was average and was a bit watery.

Pours a milky butterscotch color with a one finger head that lofts for awhile. The milkiness goes away to a perfectly clear dark amber. Little to no carbonation. Aroma is very malty. Taste is very flat and metallic with a slight hint of malts.. That's about it. Not good at all. What the hell is with the ball anyways?

Amber gold with an extremely dense, centimeter-thick cap that lasts a long time and leaves a blanket of foam, but no visible carbonation on the sides of the glass. Whiff of banana on the pour, aromas of pear and grass. Very smooth and creamy texture, wet and unsticky with almost no trace of bubbles, but it does have some weight. Mildly bitter with a gassy muscadine flavor and underlying sweetness. Well balanced but not a strong flavor. Not amazing, but beats the hell out of American macros. I honestly like this.

Nose similar to Duvel, lots of funk some grass. Described as a pale gold but I would say a pale amber with rocky white head and medium lace. Medium mouth, creamy, and a bit lacking in carbonation. Sweet and sour flavor with not much complexity, decent session brew.

Pretty thick creamy head, maybe 3/4in thickness. Good lacing and retention. Has a pale golden appearance. I find it has some bready, malty aromas, a bit of wheats. has a bitter hoppiness to it. Slight watery mouthfeel. A lot of citrus type flavours, but mainly a big malty taste overall. Not bad.

As you can see from others this one has an outstanding appearance, with a rich pale tan color and the nitrogen bubble going down the glass. At first it looks like one of those science experiments where the whole chemical reaction looks like it might explode. Taste is subtle and dry like most english bitters (don't believe the bitter part), I had this at the Snug in Washburn and the bartender says this a good one to black and tan with a porter or stout as the tan part never seperates from the stout. I'd have to agree, though it would be fun to do with root beer or cherry soda ==duck==

Pours a caramel color. Smell is a bit malty. Taste is well balanced malts and hops, creamy in the mouth and very easy drinking. Overall a good session beer.

pours a light gold with a strong, creamy head. Super thick and puffy. The aroma was disappointing as you didn't get much of an aromoa, what you did get was a kind of a basic malt smell with a bit of sweeter fruit. The taste was really a let down. It was almost like a richer, creamier, US macro brew. It was certainly bready and maybe a bit of banana in there at the end.
