Dark brown pour with dark tan head which quickly dissipates and leaves a ring around the top of the beer. Minimal lacing. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt and cocoa powder. Some subdued earthy hops in the background. The roasted malt leads the flavors with coffee and dark chocolate with a hint of vanilla and earthy hops on the finish. Medium mouthfeel (wish it was thicker). A bit of a disappointment, but still a good Imperial Stout.
