Pours translucent dark chocolate brown with a th light tan head. Smoky aroma has coffee and subtle chocolate and roast malt tones. Malt comes forth more in the flavor, smoky and earthy, with accompanying mocha and subtle woody notes. Mouthfeel has average viscosity but some good firm fizz. Baa baa black sheep, have you any beer?

Cask (handbottled, thanks K.K.). Pitch black colour, no head. Aroma is wooden, roasted malty, fruity with some slight acidic notes as well. Flavour is roasted malts, some acidic wooden notes as well as mild alcoholic sweetness. Also some slight tones of rye bread lurking.
