Dark (black) ruby red, light brown lacing lasting foam head. Strong coffee aroma, barley and nutty tones. Nice bittersweet barley taste, little coffee and nutty notes. Lasting aftertaste, light caramel. (Velp 201412)

Bottled. Very deep mury reddish brown colour with mediumsized fluffy off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is strong on sweet malts, some liquorice, chocolate, vanilla and also some mild burnt wet wooden notes. Flavour is sweet malts along with liquorice, some chocolate, mild toasted notes. As it warmed up also some dark dry fruity notes pop up. Pleasant.
