    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

A hazy dark amber colored body with a foamy off-white head rising above. An aroma of malty earthy nuttiness with a sweet touch of peat and caramel. Flavor was peaty and caramelly with some earthy nutty tones and earthy hops. With the hops a little disconcerting considering what I was expecting. From the style. Slightly earthy bitter at the end.
