A smooth sweetness starts off this complex brew. Layers of different malted barley including barley that was smoked with peat moss give it a mild grain and peat flavour. We also add the delicious parts of an oak barrel to give it a balanced oak finish.

'The beer pours a translucent dark mahogany with a thin white creamy head. The aroma is light molasses, dark roasted malt, caramel, and weak yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet molasses, with some grains, and yeast, Thin for the style, and maybe too sweet. -

Big bottle from Lilihel, enjoyed at Mont-Blanc, QC after a full day of skiing. Pours a clean copper with a big beige, good retention and a little lacing. Roasted darker malts with decent fruit notes and mild yeast. Very light chocolate malt with a bit of hop in the finish. Light roastiness of grain in the aftertaste. A nice easy-drinking, refreshing Scotch Ale.
