This is our Imperial Stout that we age in conditioning tanks with oak staves. This adds a classic character of old world aging with out the Bourbon tones. This black ale is about 12% alc. and very rich in roasted and chocolate malt tones. Velvety smooth and able to be aged for years.

Pours rich dark chocolate with a thick and fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma produces roast malt, chocolate, coffee, hints of vanilla and molasses. Flavor brings roast malt, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and subtle molasses and nutty tones. Texture furnishes good body and peppy fizz. Voodoo, bitches!

This brew rocks. Bottle pour is midnight black with a deep brown head and quite a bit of carbonation. Complex aromas contain tones of alcohol, licorice, and chocolate. Massively flavorful, notably when it's around room temparture. I tasted bittersweet chocolate, oak, vanilla, coffee, and some dark fruit nuances - figs and cherries. Normally these high ABV brews can be too sweet but this was just mind blowingly awesome. Very highly recommended.

Plenty of overly roasted malts with some hints of coffee, wood and chocolate. Medium bodied with a firm bitterness to help out the malts. Dark opaque body with a sizable head and good lacing.
