    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original La Piautre stemmed glass an unfiltered, gushing and hazy copper-brown coloured Tripel with a two fingers beige fine and pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is solid sweety malts, a touch of caramel, fruity, raisins, prunes, aromatic hops and a noticeable alcoholic feeling. The flavour is sweety malts, caramel, sugary and fruity, sweety prunes. The mouthfeel is sparkling, sweety, quite thick and smooth. This medium to full bodied Tripel has a dry fruity and alcoholic finish. This free French interpretation from the vallée de la Loire of a Tripel is, for me, a real success. Well done !
