Aged in Burgundy barrels with brettanomyces yeast and local elderberries harvested by our friends at Hidden Harvest on the grounds of the Norweigan Embassy. Thanks Norway! With an amazing light rose colour, aromas of red wine, ripened berries and a good amount of barnyard funk. Tart with a subtle sweetness, oak and vanilla flavours with a dry finish and fine carbonation. Pairs amazingly with turkey and stuffing. Sold in 500 mL bottles only.

Bottle from the brewery, written Barrel No. 06 on side label. Some big sediments floating, so used strainer on this one. Hazy pink-peach coloured with a pinkish-white head, average retention and decent lacing. Some sourness from the Brett over Saison-like citrus notes and berry juices. There is lots going on in the title, but the brew just is kind of plain. Mild earthiness from the Brett in the taste, light sourness, berries, short finish. Looks like the barrel got lost in this one. Was expecting more.
