Got this 650ml bottle from the brewery, probably 2 years ago. Pours a clean darker amber colour with some ruby hues. Frothy-bubbly beige head that leaves a little cap on the brew. Aromas of caramel, coffee, lots of dark fruits and hints of nuts. The taste really shows off lots of raisins, but the end is not too sticky, nor too sweet, rich so it helps this one go down. Some light grassiness with the hops in the finish, creating a decent dryness. Very well-brewed.

Picked up a bottle at the brewery. Wax covered cap. Pours an average size frothy beige head and has a slightly murky amber appearance. Leaves some dirty lacing behind. Aromas of dark fruits, raisins, grapes, a little bit winey and woodsy. Flavours of dark dried fruit, raisins, plums and grapes. Oily mouthfeel. Mild boozy finish. Pretty smooth and pretty easy to drink despite the high abv.
