330 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered and almost opaque burgundy-brown coloured I A with a two fingers deep beige and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Good lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is toasted sweety malts, hints of roasted coffee beans, overiped red fruits, cherries, berries, alcoholic notes. The flavour is grainy toasted malts, caramel, fruity, dark berries, spicy notes, licorice and a well pronounced herbal hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick, sparkling and very smooth. This medium to full bodied I A has a long fruity and hoppy bitter finish. A very flavoured Irish Ale from a young and promising newcomer.
