Tart and Juicy, Berry Fields is a true mixed-fermentation ale finished on raspberries. Ruby red in colour, this juicy sour ale displays bright aromas of raspberry and red current, complimented by more subtle notes of strawberry and other red fruits. Lightly dry hopped for an added layer of freshness and balance, Berry Fields has a tart and pleasing acidity making it an extremely refreshing beer on those warm, sunny days.

The beer pours a hazed cherry red colour with a short-lived white bubbly head. The aroma is tart raspberry, biscuit malt, and yeast. The mouthfeel is light bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is all raspberry, both tart and sweet notes. It overpowers everything, and not in a good way.

Pours a clean red colour at first with a pink head, average retention and some decent creamy lacing. Beautiful berry nose, but with some hops or something else that makes the aromas very, very nice. This balances the fruitiness with something that gives hints of graininess, nuttiness. This herbal-nutty feel is also in the taste, so I quite like this. Seems like a touch of gooseberries. Gets hazy at last pour. Not too sweet, nicely sour and lightly tarty. Nicely brewed.
