Pours a rich, opaque sable with a fairly thick tan head. Smoky, malty aroma definitely has a hint of bourbon to it. Flavor adds smoky malt, woody, semi-sweet and subtle bourbon notes that sum to a tasty, if not mind-blowing, stout. Texture, though, is a downer, thin for a stout and lacking in fizz. Still, roll out this barrel!
