Beau’s Farm Table Series are sessionable beers brewed true to a classic or emerging style. Organic Motueka hops from New Zealand light up this classic European beer style with their tropical, citrusy brightness. The clean, crisp pilsner provides the perfect backdrop to let these juicy hops take centre stage. History & Style Motueka is a made-in-New Zealand hop variety, created by cross-breeding NZ hops with saaz, the go-to hop for Czech-style pilsner. The recipe uses only Motueka hops, added at different points during the brewing to show off their versatility and unique character. The label art is a screen-print style that hints at New Zealand – some things that fly, and … some things that don’t. Tasting Notes Motueka Pilsner pours a slightly hazy deep gold, with a white foam. The aroma offers bright citrus notes of Meyer lemon and hints of baking spice. The flavour brings a brisk balance of soft malt and zippy hops. The finish is crisp and clean. INGREDIENTS Local spring water, organic barley malts, organic hops, brewer's yeast. MALTS Pilsner, carafoam, acidulated (all organic) HOPS Organic motueka YEAST Copenhagen lager yeast

Picked up a bottle at broue ha ha, Gatineau. Pours an average size foamy white head and has a pale golden appearance. Decent sticky lacing. Aromas of grass, yeast, floral hop notes. Flavours are quite hoppy, some pine and grassy notes, subtle citrusy notes as well. A little bit of yeast in the finish. Mild dry mouthfeel.

Second beer from Beau's Febrewary 2019. This one had to walk to Atomic Rooster in the big snow storm to get it. Clean, light-golden colour with a small white cap and decent dirty lacing. Mild rusty water aromas with even lighter malts. That taste has a little more bite for a pilsner, with some decent spicy hops in the finish. The malts are still an undertone in here. The mouthfeel is on the dry side with decent crispiness. A decent Pilsner that wins in the mouth with its spiciness.
