A real holiday beer. This wine is sure to keep you warm with its malty sweetness and fine finish. Conditioned for almost a year, it has mellowed like a fine wine and is just right for sipping.

Burgandy brown body with a decent, off-white head. There's some plastic or latex in the aroma on top of the hop bitterness. There's some fresh-cut grass and it is kind of light inthe flavor.

12oz bottle. Dark brown color. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is resiny, fruity, nutmeg and cinnamon. A medium bodied Barleywine. First things first, this is one weird mother of a barleywine. There are lots of spices like nutmeg and cinnamon, licorice and smoke. There is also some resin taste as well, spruce perhaps? Very sweet. Touch of vinous/sour/lactic quality as well. It does hide the 10% alcohol very well. Just a plain weird Barleywine. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is sweet and dry with a touch of oak tannins. Aftertaste is sweet, with some oakiness.
