Brewed with a 100% pilsner malt base, and dry hopped with two of our favourite hops, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. Expect some characteristic spice, banana flavours from the yeast, that beautifully plays with the white grapes and citrus from the hops, with a moderately dry finish. 50%, Hef’, 50% IPA, 100% freshness, July 8 will remind you that summer exists.

A very slight hazed, light golden colour with a bubbly white cap, good stay and some soapy lacing left. The smell has the blend of a Hefe with the banana-wheat notes and the IPA herbal, grassy hops. The taste shows a little of the sweet malts, but the hops do come to the rescue and cut this to a nice grassiness in the finish. The dryness follows. Easy-drinking, crisp, refreshing half-IPA and half-hefeweizen.
