Bottle, courtesy of my sister 15_2_Kuhnhenn, pours with a clear watery gold body and very brief near white head. The aroma offers up honey and slight apple cider notes before tropical hard candy is noticed. Well above those notes is a delicate vague peppery sense. The taste has carbonation thinned honey sweetness that gets into a mild vague tropical sweetness. It ends on the dry side. Pretty neat.

Draft: Poured clear with bubble head. Aroma is strong apple. Taste is similar with dry honey and apple.

Pours pale, bubbly straw yellow. Sharp aroma has fruity and honey notes, inviting a taste. Flavor is definitely different and refreshing - honey that is not overly sweet, mango, a bit of sour apple. Texture has, well, I suppose average viscosity and a subtle but lasting fizz. After the mead has headed downstairs, your mouth is still a-buzzin’. Black pepper peeps out in the finish. I definitely should try some more meads - only problem is they do tend to be rather spendy.

Still new to the mead world, but enjoying it. This one is pale yellow, paler than most honeys, and clear. The aroma is more fruity than piney, the piney dimension is quite mild, with a sweet peppercorn dimension. The flavor follows suit: sweet and tart mild mango and honey with an undercurrent of sweet peppercorn that doesn't attain to spicy. It's delicious, but I'd like to taste what it would be like if it was a little bolder. Barely effervescent, smooth and clean.

Pretty much white wine here. A little heavier with some texture and sweetness from the honey. I prefer a darker mead. A light off-white clear appearance. Only had a couple ounce sample, but I can see how drinking a lot of this could give you a headache.
