Who doesn’t like strawberries? We love them, and since so many people loved our Streetcar Kolsch we decided to add a delicate fruity twist to it. We like to live on the wild side, and after a few sips of this, we think you will too. The Strawberry Kolsch is a German style ale that has flavor and aroma profiles much like a lager or a pilsner with a slight twist of strawberry. This beer is our lightest and most sessionable brew, nicely balanced with low hop bitterness and a light malt backbone with fruity undertones. This beer has a medium body, a fizzy head and a slightly cloudy straw yellow hue. The Strawberry Kolsch is low in alcohol, bursting with flavor and extremely refreshing which makes this brew perfect for summer.

Pours a hazy, barely translucent honey-blonde with a fairly thick pale buff head. Luscious strawberries - freshly picked! - dominate the aroma, but let a bit of malt peek through. Flavor is malty with a slightly sweet and slightly tart strawberry overtone. I LOVE strawberries - or star babies, as some family member (my uncle? my father?) called them when he was a wee lad. Texture has average viscosity but good fizz. Get your star-baby on!
