BOURBON BARREL-AGED COFFEE STOUT 16.0% ABV Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development— a 4-month hiatus in Bourbon barrels—were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers. - See more at: https://www.averybrewing.com/beers/tweak#sthash.KkHRXzCr.dpuf

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

12 oz bottle, batch 3 bottled 11/14/2016 - 16% ABV. Pours dark brown black with a creamy tan head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is roast chocolate malt, sweet vanilla and lots of bourbon with a little coffee and a bit of fusel alcohol.

The flavor is sweet fudgy chocolate malts with vanilla and a big roast finish with quite a bit of harsh but warming alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, lots of interesting things going on. Pretty sweet, harsh and boozy. I remember the original Meph Addict being so much better with less harsh alcohol and a lot more coffee.
